Monnie Ula Glick, 68, of Indianapolis, made her journey to Heaven on Sunday, September 15, 2019, following a brief battle with lung cancer. She passed peacefully at home, surrounded by the love of her family. Born in Coeburn, VA on March 31, 1951 to the late Milford G. and Edna L. Sexton, Monnie spent her child and young adulthood in New Buffalo, MI. She married the love of her life, Bruce A. Glick, on July 27, 1968. His military service took them to N. Carolina for a short while and later work would inspire a move to Indy, where they raised their family. One of five siblings, Monnie was preceded in death by sister; Bonnie Kelley, and brother; Edward Sexton. She is survived by sister; Sue Swain (Keith Swain), brother; Gilbert Sexton (Cindy Sexton), children; Steve Glick (Pamela Graves), Sean Glick, and Stacie Anderson (Tony Anderson), grandchildren; Gaige Anderson (Kayla Downing), and Kaitlyn Anderson (Kyle Scott), great-granddaughter; Sophia Anderson, sister-in-law; Chrystal Brown (Allen Brown), brother-in-law David Glick (Sylvia Glick) and many beloved cousins, nieces and nephews. The earth has lost a uniquely kind and compassionate individual. Monnie was deeply loved and will be missed by all who knew her. “Lord, we rejoice in the knowledge that she has gone to reside in your Kingdom, wrapped in the warm embrace of your unfaltering love and will know no suffering, for eternity. We thank you for the grace you have bestowed upon Monnie and our family and praise you for your almighty strength and commitment to your promise. Amen”
